Am I eligible for the Back to School NSW Vouchers Program?
To be eligible for this program, your child must be:
- An NSW Resident
- Listed on a valid Medicare Card
- Enrolled for 2023 in a non-government or government school, Tafe, or registered for homeschooling.
What is covered by the Back to School NSW Vouchers Program?
Eligible purchases are limited to the following: School uniforms, including: shoes, socks, hats and sports uniforms. School equipment, including: umbrellas or raincoats. necessary protective equipment (for students enrolled in specialised classes such as chemistry, who may require goggles or a lab coat), or tools or equipment specific to sports or other programs (for students participating in sports, art or musical classes, who may require sporting gear, art supplies or musical instruments).
For students who attend Trade School and children that are on alternative education pathways, may purchase the following:
- High Vis Polo Tops, and Shirts
- Industrial Pants and Shorts
- Steel Cap Boots, and Shoes
- Hi Vis / Reinforce Socks and Socks Protectors
- Safety Hats, and Other Safety Equipments - Required
For students who attend public schools, that are allowed to wear generic (Basic) clothing to school as ‘School uniform’, that is outside the school uniform department range, may purchase the following:
- Basic Fleece Track Pants and Tops
- Basic Socks
- Basic Hats
- Basic Shoes
- Basic Polo Tops, and T-Shirts
- Basic Belts
- Basic Shorts
