SUSTAINABLITY
GOOD DEEDS - POSITIVE IMPACTS
This year Lowes teamed up with local based textile recycle group Manrags and link to support a bilateral decision with all our school partners to
enact a responsible wastage approach with discontinued or non-saleable school uniforms.
EXAMPLES OF OUR LATEST CONTRIBUTIONS

Worn Up is an impact business dedicated to up-cycling non wearable school, corporate and sports uniforms into furniture and new products. They work with schools, councils, businesses and organisations to reduce textiles in landfill.
Their aim is to first, design out waste by reducing over production and using sustainable materials, and then to make sure these items don't end up in landfill.
Their goal is to have ZERO textiles in landfill by 2030.

Between 01/04/2023 – 30/06/2023 you prevented 2,413.00kg textiles from being sent to landfill. This has also resulted in prevention of approximately 8,445.50kg greenhouse gases from polluting our atmosphere
Thank you again for joining our fight against textile waste.
We are so pleased that we were able to join forces to create a better planet and a brighter future for the next generation!
